- N.W. Izzard returns to Barrelhouse South, kicking off the night.
Asheville alt/soul/funk ensemble Travers Brothership brings their A Way to Survive Tour to Barrelhouse South.
Founded by twin brothers Eric and Kyle Travers, who started performing together when they were 13 years old, Travers Brothership is dedicated to creating one-of-a-kind shows that transcend the concert experience and transform an audience of strangers into a community.
Since breaking out with the EP ‘I Don’t Mind’ in 2012, the band has performed alongside acts like soul angel Charles Bradley, legend Taj Mahal, jam-rockers The String Cheese Incident, Dr. John, Robert Randolph, and many more.
Their latest album, A Way to Survive, was recorded by Grammy-winning producer Juan “Pericles” Covaz and Grammy-nominated engineer Matt Williams. The debut record was recorded at Full Sail University and at The Eagle Room in Asheville, North Carolina. The result is an eclectic affair with deep grooves and danceable rhythms.
Jacksonville’s N.W. Izzard opens up the night.
