Join The Collective Face Theatre Ensemble for the first show in the 2018/2019 season. A modern remake of one of the oldest Greek tragedies, The Danaids by Aeschylus, fifty sisters arrive at an Italian anor, having fled Greece to avoid marrying their fifty cousins. Mayhem ensues, complete with grooms in flight suits, women throwing themselves to the ground, occasional pop songs and romantic dances - even a bride falling in love.
