They’re back! A Pickin’ Parlor favorite is returning to fire up the summer night.
The duo Little Roy Lewis and Lizzy Long offer one of the most entertaining shows bluegrass fans can experience live. With Long on fiddle, banjo, guitar, resonator banjo, and vocals, and “Little Roy” on banjo, guitar, and more, the group has a fierce following and even hosts their own festival, The Annual Little Roy and Lizzy Music Festival.
The band plays all manner of bluegrass, country, and gospel music and has earned high accolades for their work. Long earned a Bluegrass Song of the Year award for the songs “Mountain Top,” “When We Fly,” and “He Washed My Soul” and took home Best Bluegrass Song of the Year at the 2015 GMA Dove Awards for a duet with Rhonda Vincent, “God is There.” Additionally, Long is one of the youngest fiddlers to be inducted into America’s Old Time Fiddler’s Country Hall of Fame.
Lewis has been inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame, International Bluegrass Music Association Hall of Honor, and the Southern Gospel Music Hall of Fame.
