The History of Basketball

When: Thu., Feb. 23, 7 p.m. 2017

The history of basketball will be presented by actor Clyk Cozart, former collegiate and ABA athlete Jim Dawson, former Globetrotter Larry “Gator” Rivers, and sports publicist Keith Zimmerman. And for the first time, the Olympic Berg Ball will be on display. This is the winning basketball used by the American team in the 1936 Berlin hosted Olympics, the first year basketball was a part of the Olympic games.
