Unfortunately, due to the COVID19 virus and the socially interactive nature of my project I have decided to postpone “Weaving the Fabric of Our Community” to a later date. The 3 banners that I was able to complete in my weeklong residency are hanging in the ON::VIEW windows. In addition, a wacky warped frame loom with visitor’s “My community...” comments woven into it is also on display. You are welcome to safely drive by to see the artwork until the next residency begins. I will continue my project at home until the items donated have been used. I appreciate Sulfur Studios and the many people who visited me during the week bringing items from their lives to be woven into the banners.
