When: Sat., Sept. 8, 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
The Jason Dahlke Energy Adventure Challenge is a unique combination of checkpoint finding and physical challenges. You can enjoy a 2-hour or a 4-hour race for both beginners and experts. While distances will not be disclosed as part of the challenge, you can expect approximately, 4-6 miles of trekking, 12-15 miles of biking and 1-2 miles of kayaking. Compass skills are required and various miscellaneous challenges will be spread throughout the course. Racers are in 2-person teams. The event will be held on Hunter Army Airfield on Lotts Island inside the Rio Gate. Open to the public.
