From East Coast and West Coast, two songwriters will grace the Tybee Post Theater stage to share years of their extraordinary work.
Savannah’s own Jill Knight has recorded three albums and performed alongside artists including John Prine, Shawn Colvin, Indie Arie, Delbert Mclinton, Little Feat, Los Lobos, and more. Knight already knocked the socks off Post Theater attendees at its big fundraiser a few years back, performing with Tony Arata at the time. Her original stylings fuse a love of Americana, blues, and R&B into an unforgettable sound.
Caroline Aiken was born in Atlanta and spent years touring and performing out of L.A. These days, she’s back in the South and living in Atlanta, where she continues to hone her blues-influenced voice and fingerstyle approach to guitar playing. The Grammy nominee was a huge influence on Georgia’s Indigo Girls and Shawn Mullins, and she continues to inspire to this day.
