- Chase Anderson will be joined by surprise guests.
PROFESSIONAL entertainer, folklorist, historian, and paranormal event artist Chase Anderson gets the fall started right with a show of spirited song.
Anderson’s life story is just as colorful as those that he tells. The Savannahian studied with Kevin Burke, renowned Irish fiddler, and performed in Neyami Road, country superstar Luke Bryan’s pre-solo career band. For thirty years, he toured as a professional musician, bringing his talents back to Georgia after tours throughout Europe. These days, he enjoys finding and sharing Savannah’s haunted history and making it interesting and accessible to listeners.
Anderson began blending song and story with ‘The Ghosts of Christmas,’ a 2016 performance at The Sorrel-Weed House. At ‘Songs from the Haunted Heart,’ Anderson will share original music and cover songs that explore the nature of ghosts, time, death, redemption, and the transformational experience—folk ballads, songs from Gregg Allman, Pink Floyd, Van Morrison and more will be played. The show is the first in a series of charity shows that Savannah Ghost Walks and Anderson are organizing to benefit storm victims in the Virgin Islands.
