Here's what's going on today (Sunday, Sept. 16): The U.S. Army Band gives a free concert in Forsyth Park at 5 p.m., sponsored by the Savannah Ocean Exchange. The late, great Mark Sandman, of the band Morphine, is the subject of the documentary Cure For Pain, screened at 5 p.m. at Muse Arts Warehouse as part of the Music on Film Festival. The day's other screenings: At 2 p.m., it's Blaze Foley: Duct Tape Messiah, the story of a little-known but influential Texas troubadour. And 8 p.m. brings us the documentary Coals to Newcastle: New Mastersounds, From Leeds to New Orleans, profiling the great British funk/fusion band New Mastersounds (frequent visitors to Savannah). From 1 to 5 p.m., check out the Children's Ocean Film Festival, part of the Savannah Ocean Exchange, at the Tybee Island Marine Science Center.
