When: Wed., April 15, 6 p.m. 2015
Armstrong State University’s College of Science and Technology will host the third Science on Tap event featuring Frank Katz, Armstrong assistant professor of information technology. In honor of tax day on April 15, Katz will discuss the fact that many Americans learn shortly after filing their taxes that their identities have been stolen due to deception, faulty filing software or accidental errors. He will offer advice about how to protect yourself in an insecure world and how to reduce your chance of becoming a victim of identity theft. This event is free and open to the public.
