Literacy Conference for Educators

Armstrong State University and the Coastal Savannah Writing Project (CSWP), an independent program that aims to educate coastal Georgia and South Carolina teachers on writing and reading comprehension pedagogy, will host the sixth annual Literacy Conference for Educators. This year’s featured author is Lester Laminack, writer of both children’s books and texts specifically designed for instructors. Laminack and CSWP director Lesley Roessing will conduct breakout sessions addressing topics ranging from Nonfiction Reading and Writing to Technology and Writing and will engage participants in professional development classes.
