What does The Hunger Games have to do with world hunger? Armstrong State University English Instructor Chris Cartright argues that pop culture is political. Cartright will discuss how media representations, from video games like Assassin's Creed to films like American Sniper, subtly shape our ideas about the world, informing the ways we address terrorism, poverty and other global issues.
