Dr. Stephen Blackwood, president of Ralston College, will deliver a public lecture to accompany the release of his book, "The Consolation of Boethius as Poetic Liturgy." He'll discuss one of the most influential works of Western literature, Boethius' "Consolation of Philosophy," particularly the role of memory in bringing stability amid the uncertainties and hardships of our daily lives. A reception and book signing will follow. Presented in the third floor reading room of Cranmer Hall.
