- Kristin King, Ricardo Ochoa, and Joseph Harvey offer Music to Entice the Soul.
Enjoy a mix of ragtime, waltzes, themes from classic films, and contemporary selections in the historic Unitarian Universalist Church of Savannah.
As a part of the congregation’s Sounds & Spirits Concert Series, Kristin King’s Ensemble Eclectic will present “Music to Entice the Soul.” Harpist King, along with violinist Ricardo Ochoa and cellist Joseph Harvey, will offer spirit-stirring sounds with their acclaimed talents.
King can be seen performing around town solo and with a variety of ensembles, including her own Uncommon Collective, a UU favorite. Ochoa is a founding member of gypsy swing band Velvet Caravan and principal second violinist of the Savannah Philharmonic. Harvey, an alumnus of Roosevelt University, has performed with The New Music Group at the University of Akron, the Gladden String Quartet, and the Marini String Quartet. He is a co-founder of L.A.’s String Theory’s rock persona, Debacle. He also performs with the Savannah Philharmonic.
A wine reception will follow the concert.
