Kudos to the man who had the presence of mind to set his home alarm system when he left the house -- and have the call forwarded to his cell phone! I know that a lot of home security companies like Monitronics (http://www.linkedin.com/companies/monitronics-international) are allowing homeowners to use their cell phones as the primary number instead of a landline.
