Dining in the Dark

Dining in the Dark offers guests a peek into an unfamiliar world of total blindness and helps them to discover a new, deeper understanding of vision loss. The journey begins with a cocktail party, great silent auction items and fun activities. The next step of the journey will be led into the dark, guided by the Savannah Police Department’s SWAT team, using their night vision technology to guide you through a spectacular three course meal prepared by the chefs at 39 Rue de Jean. All proceeds benefit the Savannah Center for Blind and Low Vision’s efforts to help those who are blind or visually impaired regain their independence.
