What a crock! The City voted to subdivide that specific parcel off of the parent parcel and then voted to declare it "surplus property" as a direct result of being approached by Gordon to create a motion picture complex. And now they are saying something entirely different. The industry desperately needs a facility like that and has a willing buyer offering a price higher than the City's own appraisal. And that leaves them 54 acres and $1 million to advance the creation of the athletic fields they claim to want.
