I live in a residential neighborhood because I like the quiet, laid back, comfort of knowing who my neighbors are and who is expected to be there. I do not want transient people in and out, never knowing if they actually belong or not. There are areas that are mixed use and those areas are better suited for this. I do not agree that this type of business, yes a business, should be in a residential area. Maybe if security at City Hall doesn't toss you out, you could throw a full on tantrum at the upcoming council meeting and see if that helps this time.
The politics behind wanting to preserve the “historic value” of downtown and not fill our streets with trucks always sounded like a generation full of pencil pushers attempting to hold onto the past instead of preparing for the future
