Burglary suspect nabbed at pharmacy

A 45-year-old Bloomingdale resident was found hiding in a storage area at a local pharmacy.

Police responded to the Prescription Shop on East 65th Street after burglary suspect Tracy Young tripped an alarm.

Officers from Precinct 3 were dispatched to the shop. They found no signs of forced entry, but when the store manager arrived, were told that a number of items in the store had been moved.

Officers began systematically clearing the store, and found Young in hiding. He had gotten inside the store through the roof.

Young was arrested, charged with one count of burglary and transported to the Chatham County Detention Center.
