Ah, New Year’s Eve. Some might mark the occasion with a quiet night at home (OK, boomer), but undoubtedly many will be ready to take advantage of all that Savannah has to offer in terms of New Year’s Eve nightlife.
If you’re looking to celebrate or mourn (or both) the passing of another calendar year with some live music or a classy party, look no further—here’s just about everything going on in town on December 31.
City Market New Year’s Eve @City Market
The City Market celebration is shaping up to be a great night, as its always known to be. Expect live music and, of course, all the shopping and fine dining that City Market offers.

NYE Fireworks @Savannah’s Waterfront
The Waterfront Association presents its annual fireworks display, which will certainly be a sight to behold on the water at midnight. The association is also partnering with local businesses and hotels for specials and packages including cigars from Exotic Cigars, a gala cruise from River Street Riverboat Company, and of course hotel packages from DoubleTree, the River Street Inn, and Marriott. Fireworks, though, are free!

New Year’s Eve Bash @Club One
Club One is ringing in the new year with an epic bash that features two drag shows at 10:30 and 12:30, as well as karaoke starting at 10 P.M. until close, a balloon drop, cash prizes, and a champagne toast. Doors for the event are at 5 P.M., meaning you can get there early and pre-game for the night ahead.

Foxy New Year’s Party @Foxy Loxy Cafe
Everyone’s favorite coffee shop is hosting a NYE celebration in their beautiful courtyard, featuring music from DJ Press Play starting at 9 P.M., wine specials, and a champagne toast at midnight. Look no further for great vibes and a good time.

New Year’s Eve at 201 @201 Tapas Lounge
This one is a doozy! 201 Tapas Lounge has possibly everything you need to make your New Year’s Eve one to remember: a confetti cannon, glow glasses, an LED dance floor, a $150 bottle service, a champagne toast, and an eclectic mix of music from DJ Carlitobaby, DJ Gutty Innocent, and DJ Mario. Some VIP packages are already sold out, but a $350 package and general admission remains.

New Year’s at the Alida @Alida Hotel
For a more upscale New Year’s Eve celebration, the Alida is the place to go. There’ll be a champagne fountain, food from Chef Jason Stames, and an open bar. You’ll dance, you’ll drink, and you’ll ring in 2020 in a memorable way.

The Love Cats present: A Very Special New Years Eve Party @The Wormhole
Do you love The Cure? Sure you do! Who doesn’t? If you don’t know, Savannah has a stellar Cure tribute band called The Love Cats, and they’re hosting what’s set to be an incredible night of local music at The Wormhole that will also feature sets from Knighsquatch, Garbage Dog, and Perpetual Care. Don’t miss this one.

New Year’s Eve Masquerade Ball @The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa
The Westin’s annual celebration is a masquerade ball this year, which seems like a truly perfect way to party on New Year’s Eve. There’ll be desserts and an open bar in the Grand Ballroom, as well as a champagne toast. Don’t forget to come dressed in your best mask.

NYE Rooftop Soiree @The Peregrin
Treats, drinks, and a photographer to boot! Party the night away on The Peregrin’s gorgeous rooftop and enjoy live music from rock and funk band SOAP. There’s an open bar and complimentary party favors included with admission.
