Sexual assault at Duffy Street rooming house
Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police are investigating a sexual assault that occurred at a rooming house on E. Duffy St.
At approximately 3:57 a.m. Sunday, "an unknown male forced his way into a female’s room and sexually assaulted her," police say.
"The suspect is described as a black male, bald, and appeared to be in his 30s. He was wearing a black T-shirt, cargo pants, pull calf-length Spurs socks and dark shoes."
