Mark your calendar: Dar Williams and dates to keep

Dar Williams is coming to Live Wire Music Hall May 16

By this point, everyone knows about the new shows added to the Savannah Music Festival lineup, the Lyle Lovett/John Hiatt double bill (March 24, Trustees Theater), Justin Townes Earle opening for The Head & the Heart (March 22, Lucas Theatre) and Pink Martini (March 29, Lucas).

Here's another freshly-minted concert to watch for: Acclaimed singer/songwriter Dar Williams has a date May 16 at Live Wire Music Hall.

Dar's In the Time of Gods album will be released that very week. She says it "explores many of today's most challenging social issues told against the parables of Greek mythology."
