The Anti-postcard Show! -- Paintings by Lind Hollingsworth and photographs by Michael Ellison Jan. 3-Feb. 28 at the Hospice Savannah Art Gallery, located at Hospice House, 1352 Eisenhower Dr. An opening reception will be held Friday, Jan. 13 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Half the Story -- Paintings by Nancy Doolan showing at Pinnacle Gallery, 320 E. Liberty St., through Jan. 9.

Aftermath -- The Armstrong Atlantic State University Department of Art, Music & Theatre (AASU AMT) presents the artwork of painter Katherine Taylor Jan. 9-26 in the AASU Fine Arts Gallery. Taylors large scale, oil-on-canvas paintings are based on actual scenes of devastation in the Gulf Coast. Taylor will attend the closing gallery reception, Thursday, Jan. 26 at 12 noon.

Panic at the Bistro -- Exhibit at the Starland Districts DeSotoRow Gallery showcases recent work by Jamie Bennett, Michele Chidester, Brett Garrett and Cory Lundquist. Jan. 6-12. Opening Reception Friday Jan. 6 at 6 p.m.

Meryl Truett -- New photographs exploring the vernacular architecture of the American South, at Rosewood Studio and Gallery at 113 Oglethorpe Ave.

Various Views -- Work by Fran Thomas, Morgan Kuhn, Charlotte Dunlap, Frances Walters, Angela Coonce, Carolyn Neely and Preston Russell is on display at Gallery 440, 440 Bull St. between Monterey Square and Forsyth Park. The gallery represents over 20 local and national artists.

Small Works -- SCAD annual holiday exhibition featuring work from students, alumni, faculty and staff, at The Red Gallery, 201 E. Broughton St. All pieces are priced at $500 or less and measure 18 inches or less in any one direction.

Under Pressure -- SCAD hosts this exhibition of new works by printmaking minors at the May Poetter Gallery, 342 Bull St.

JEA Art for January -- Paintings by Ligel Lambert will be on display this month at the Jewish Educational Alliance, 5111 Abercorn St.

Gallery 209 Artists -- Small Treasures is the theme for January at this gallery at 209 E. River St.
