Metro Police have arrested and charged two suspects "while they look for a third after multiple shots were fired at a house on Damon Street in two incidents," a spokesman says.

Canty Cadeem Savage, 23, was arrested Tuesday by Savannah Impact Program and Central Precinct Crime Suppression Unit officers on charges of aggravated assault and violation of parole.

Herbert Nathaniel Johnson Jr., 25, was arrested Christmas Eve by Downtown Precinct officers on charges of aggravated assault, criminal use of an article with an altered ID and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Detectives continue to ask the public to help locate Jarvis Jerell Giles, 26. Warrants have been filed charging him with aggravated assault. He is a black male, about 6-foot and 205 pounds. He has been known to have a beard, slight moustache and long hair worn in dread locks. He is considered armed and dangerous.

The three were identified as suspects after multiple gunshots were fired at a house on the 1100 block of Damon Street on Dec. 21 and again on Dec. 26. Giles was identified as one of the occupants of the car from which the shots were fired both times. In the first incident, the house was occupied by five adults and three children.

"All three of the men are well known to Metro and Chatham County authorities," police say.

"Giles has been arrested eight times in the county since 2006. Johnson has been arrested 11 times since 2006 and served five months of a fire-year term for interference with government property. Savage has been arrested nine times since 2008 and served six months of a five-year term and later 12 months of a second five-year term, both for sale and distribution of cocaine."
